The Actor’s Charitable Theatre was founded in December of 2008 with a two fold mission: to create a community theatre that allows people of all ages and experience to be involved in high quality theatrical productions and to use theatre as a means of giving back to various other organizations. A portion of the profit from every show is donated to a local charity. A season at The ACT includes a large variety of theatrical events ranging from full scale musicals at The Bama Theatre to smaller, more intimate dinner theatres. The ACT also works to allow young actors a chance to explore their love for theatre through our Youth Series and theatre camps.
