During this unprecedented time in our nation’s history, arts organizations, which thrive on human interaction and connectivity, are taking a major hit. The ACT has had to postpone and/or cancel three productions where ticket sales and sponsorships from those productions would have allowed us financial stability through the summer. Without these productions, there is an empty stage, empty seats, and many empty hearts.
By donating today, you’re not only helping us but you are strengthening the arts community in Tuscaloosa. While our future productions are still in limbo like everything else, we remain committed to providing top caliber entertainment and educational theatre camps for Tuscaloosa County and the surrounding areas, but we need your help! It takes a community to build a theatre and we are depending on our community to help get us through this hardship so we can continue our mission that we strongly believe in.
If you would like to donate, please visit our GoFundMe page. We are so appreciative of any amount. If you are unable to donate, please spread the word, follow us on social media and subscribe to our YouTube Channel.
Starting on April 16th, be sure to tune in to our weekly “Home Concerts” by some of your favorite performers from the Tuscaloosa performing arts community. Since we are unable to have concerts at our studio theatre, we want to keep the arts alive by bringing them to you in your own home! The concerts will be live streamed at 7PM CST on The ACT’s YouTube channel so stay tuned!
We hope to see all of you soon. Stay well and healthy.
